many more to follow....all are either from fanimation/museum or the bourse where we were treated the finest 'trifecta' in all the world of fan collecting!!!

thanks jack for bringing for all to see three of the greatest fans most will ever see in their lifetime and all togther is astounding. WOW!!!!

this is the first of the 3 from the Dayton Trifecta.
this is the rarest although not the most sought after of the three. stationary AC fan with and is the only known survivor....

this the second of the daytons and is one of only a small handful in the hands of collectors......this is known as the dayton 'spin start' for obvious reasons.....could be spun either direction and will either 'suck or blow'....

the third you probably could see in the photos is none other than what is arguably the 'holy-grail' among fans in captivity. unbelievable to say the least. and what a great story of how it came to find its way to the 'House of Jack'. btw, the copper oxide finish is most certainly original......AWESOME doesnt begin to describe this amazing fan. more images of these to follow....

Why has the pancake got three 'claw like' feet protruding from the front of the base?
Also is the one bellow it a GE pancake as well?

Wallace Freeman was walking their walk in the states in 95. :D The late Loren Haroldson posted this patent when we were bashing around patents from Lancaster.  The early fans from Lancaster(Paragon/Towle/Fidelity are like from the twilight zone dudes....no patents...so far.

The Western Electric above must predate Wellman's handy work.  The late Loren Haroldson posted Wellman got wasted not to far down the road in a train wreck.

The late Loren Haroldson? Sorry if I haven't been keeping up with things, but this is a joke right?

I'm hoping that he will respond with something like Mark Twain's famous comment; "reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated”

Ron, that fan is a Western Electric (AC) from the early 1900s, I think before they started selling rebadged Westinghouse tanks. Paul can fill you in on the details.
