I was wondering if someone would be willing to look and do any repair needed to get my fan in running condition for the price of shipping and handling? I'm on a fixed income because I'm disabled and can't afford to pay alot. I talked to Bill Fanum tonight and he told me that even though my ohm meter isn't telling me I have a short, I still could because the ohm meter doesn't put as much as volts to the motor as it obviously does when its plugged in. The spark and pop came from the front of the fan near the headwire so I'm guessing its the headwire and if so shrink wrap would fix that and I could handle that but after what Bill said I'm worried that that may not be it although I'm not seeing any burn't areas or smells in the motor and I did a burn't spot on the headwire. The fan is stamped steel. Please let me know if your willing to help me :)
