Well, A while back ago I purchased a Emerson 19646 that I was told that it was the BEST one this person has ever seen, so I bought it. Upon receiving it, it wasn't the BEST I ever saw, in fact it blade was manhandled badly and someone had screwed one wing on. I called Nick Loos and told him my problem and off it went to the magic man. Today I received back and what a beautiful job he has done. Thank you Nick for an extraordinary job, many thanks and I hope your feeling better. Here's what it looked like when he got it and a few photos of it now, what a difference!

Ron and Nick.
The fan now looks great but I think the one screwed on blade is still Loos. If the seller of that fan has eyesight as unclear and out of focus and dark as his ebay photos it's no wonder he didn't see the obvious flaws.
A tip to ebay buyers; make sure the photos you see are clear enough and show the important details before you take the plunge and bid. When you see a GOOD FAN along with good, detailed, and clear photos, you'll be assured of getting a nice fan if the shipper doesn't do it in.
I'm glad it turned out so well. 19646s are great looking fans and a favorite of mine.Last edited on Tue Oct 20th, 2009 12:03 am by Steve Stephens

The thing is Steve, I even called him and he stated it was near perfect, just goes to show you can't even believe them. That's why it'll be a cold day in H E double L before I spend that kind of money for a fan on eBay.

| "Perfect" is fair to pretty good for some sellers. I've watch that seller's fans for years and have never been impressed and would not buy from him. I've talked to him in person and he said that he's had something like 900 Emersons if I remember right. You'd think he would know what's good and what's so-so. I've thought he's using a crummy camera or else the flaws in the fans would show up. Buying on ebay is ok but you have to scan those photos and descriptions really well.
