Hi Binh

I'm pretty sure your fan is a British GEC fan (General Electric Company). It is an oscillator from the 1930s and is slightly unusual having brushes and them being in front of the motor. It may be a DC fan or even for both AC and DC.

The three struts were mild steel tubes inserted into the three holes in the front motor casing. The cage may have been brass and traditional or more likely steel and 'art deco' design as in the picture of one in the Gallery section under non-American fans.

Pete, I took a peek at your non-American GECs in the gallery.  Sure enough.  That oscillating mechanism is very similar looking to early Westinghouse patents.  Good to have you around, I would of never nailed that one on a good day.
