I guess it's not as desirable as beige GE box fans are though, considering the $850 selling price on one of those :P

Happily the fan sold to vespa_preservation_society, I have no idea who that is but their name suggests that they'll take care of the fan like it deserves to be...

I do know that there is an Italian scooter (produced since 1946) called a Vespa (Italian for wasp). Perhaps this society preserves these vehicles.
