| Can someone provide me with some information about this little Hunter ceiling fan. It is a type 1032. This is a little 32" fan with aluminum blades. Just perfect for a bathroom or closet. I am particularly interested in know the approximate manufacture date for these little guys. Attached Image (viewed 68 times):

I have one of these also Robert. I have not been able to find any info on it. I have it torn down for a redo. I would also like to know the appropriate globe for it. Perhaps some of our CF experts can enlighten us.

| Tom, here is the globe I was considering for this fan. It is really small as you can see compared to the light bulb next to it. Attached Image (viewed 65 times):

That's a nice globe Robert. I picked up one at a yard sale that I think is old, but not sure it's appropriate. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

| I have zero Hunter Fan Catalogs. In matters Hunter I have to defer to John Andrews. I'd guess 1940-1975 vintage. The R&M catalogs call for a 9" shade from that era.

| I had no idea they were that new. The globe I posted the picture of is about 8" in diameter. Hey, Tom. I have another milkglass globe that is about 8" in diameter if you decide you need an alternative to the one you have. It is different from the one I posted and probably more appropriate, as well.

| From what I can see on the tag, it was probably made sometime between the 30s and 1945. Last edited on Mon Aug 25th, 2008 04:29 am by Andrew Goold

Robert, supposedly around 46 Hunter moved from Fulton, New York to Memphis Tenn. Then around 49 R&M bought out Hunter. I had a R-36 I ebayed that had the "The Hunter Fan & Ventilation Company" of Memphis Tenn. on its motor tag. Well I am pretty sure Hunter was going by this name just prior to their move to Memphis? Your fan has "The Hunter Fan & Motor Company" of Fulton, New York. This would more than likely date your fan like Andrew has suggested.
