Hello Everyone.


I was at the flea market today, and have bought a ceiling fan like this for around USD$80. However, I do not quite know about this fan, on it's age. It looks like a 1940's fan to me, but maybe it can be older or younger.

Your expertise and help will be very much appreciated if you could advise me on this piece.

The metal piece reads:

USHA (formerly Jay Manufacturing Works Co.) Made in Calcutta
SERIAL no.322;  volts 220/230 , 42 watts, 300 rpm, type 36 AC

Perhaps the metal label helps for identification
