Trying to understand the correct wiring for an Emmy 34641 ceiling fan.  The original switch contacts and connections are not making sense to me.  Could it be that the choke is parralled in the high position.  Would really appreciate some help from some of you CF'ers.  Thanks.

Tom I am living proof you can collect fans and not work on them. But what you have is a shaded pole motor, with an induction coil. The wiring should be the same as any Emerson table fan. John McCommas has posted those diagrams many times.
