I found a cast iron comfortair A11 space heater and can find no info on it ...It has very late 40s early 50s look to it ...Any info ?

That may be made by Mimar, but I don't know for sure. I think it'll say it was manufactured in Brooklyn, NY if it's made by them.

What does the tag say and how does it work?

Should have had my glasses on when reading the bottom tag ..Yep its a Mimar .
