I have a few (less than 6) used replacement motors that will fit the Sears Homart type of belt driven fans. These will fit in the original cradle and use the original pulley as I have two fans to ensure fit.
The shafts have been shortened if need be. These motors have been checked, cleaned, windings re-varnished, oiled with 40 weight purple synthetic oil, painted.
Single speed $25 - Two speed $40. Shipping is extra. Emerson, GE, Westy, and Delco are the available brands and all are 1/3 HP. All are USA made and are 30 or more years older. Most are cast aluminum end bells and a couple are cast iron.
No original motors are available from me. But I can repair and/or rewind the original Packard electric motors - also called a Craftsman on the name plate of the original Sear's fans.
PM for more info and pictures of the specific brands your interested in.
Ron
P.S.
I am working on a detailed repair book (in editing phase) with lots of pictures taking the fan and motor apart and putting everything back together. It details the types of screws, number of screws and locations plus showing you exactly how to use the tool and the size tool it takes to get the fan repaired all the way to making the fan like new.

That switch is a common switch - a single pole - double throw with off in the center position. The switch labeled as HI and LO is not as common but generally you find the label as ON and ON or ON - OFF - ON.
