I am seeking Vintage 3 speed 20 inch GE box fans with 5 plastic blades that run. Not ones posted on ebay because I am a frugal collector. Thank you , Tony

Hey there, new to the forum.saw your post for the GE box fan wanted.I have 2 of them.

1.a 5 blade plastic one off grey metal box frame,3 speed side mounted dial switch.Badge is about 3 inches sqaure in upper left courner with blue print on it.Badge says:GE 3 Speed.Fans is in decent shape cosmetically,it runs could use a motor cleaning up and it would be good.

2. a 3 blade metal fan, box, color, switch, motor design, everthing is the same but the badge is brown in color and in the center of the grill.cosmetically fair, runs good.

Let me know if you want pics

I ended up finding two 20 inch vintage GE box fans with five plastic blades in the past three months, also I have three 20 inch beige GE box fan with three metal blades & two 20 turquoise box fans with three metal blades. Thank you However I am trying to find the small vintage single all metal Marvin window fans & the small vintage Kord 10 inch double/twin window fans that are mechanicly reversible with seperate on/off controlls or the 9 inch vintage Lasko window or desk fan that manually/mechanicly swivels. Thank you Tony

It runs fine. You got give a squirt of oil now and then. They get a

little noisy if you dont keep them oiled. Its a common problem

with them.Cheap bearings.Other than that it runs great.I've

used in the summer without any problems.I can send a couple

of pics if your interested.

Are you still interested in selling this? I'd like to have the big brother to the small version, which I will be getting soon.
