Hi, I would like to a 12" Silver Swan to purchase.  Not good with electronics and restorations, would like something in plug in and use condition.  Thanks!

I have an eBay auction for one like you describe going on right now if you're interested.

Hi, I knew nothing of these fans until I saw yours on Ebay.  It was a random Ebay search for vintage fans and your images stopped me.   Because I am somewhat leary of buying on Ebay, I thought I would begin my search here, funny how it took me right back to your fan.  So I have to ask, on the infamous zero to ten scale, where does this fan rank?  Is this a fan which I can comfortably use on a daily basis?  Are there any issues with the fan that would interfere with ultimate performance?  I read your Ebay description, several times and the fan sounds as if it is fine other than the cord not being original, some paint wear and the decal wear.  Is that pretty much it?  Asking the questions now so that I'mnot disappointed later, Thanks!   Saar

This is a fan you can use every day without disappointment. It's hard to rank this fan against other vintage fans on a scale of 1-10 because everyone's criteria of what makes a great vintage fan is different; i.e., people are looking for different things. But this fan has no issues at all that interfere with performance.

If you are asking me more specifically "how does this Silver Swan rank compared to other Silver Swans?" I would say it's an 8: the remaining two points for the paint & decal condition. Everything else is pretty perfect.
