"Flaming" is an Internet term for derogatory, demeaning, angry, insulting, etc, posts.
As a general rule, those sorts of posts start an exchange between aggrieved parties which is termed a "flame war."
In short, the rule is, keep it civil, preferably friendly.
Please do not use the open forum as a chat room. Our forum’s intended purpose is the exchange of or requests for information regarding fans. Please try to only contribute when you have information that is relevant or are seeking information yourself. Posts that evolve into different/less relevant topics may be deleted. Also refrain from using the open forum for a discussion between yourself and another user. Please utilize private messaging or email once the conversation evolves to that.
