Picked one up today for $75 which might have been too much. The fan is 100% cosmetically ,but she's bad mechanically speaking. It does run, but my main concern is that it doesnt run smooth (sounds rough) and emits a bad smell. Sometimes it doesnt want to start up by itself but when its started it does the problems that were mentioned in the previous sentence. I am gonna open it up tomorrow and clean the commutator because its dirty and see if anything improves. Any help would be appreciated.
