I have posted pictures of my 29046 32 Volt Emerson before, but there is a little story that goes with it. Before Fan Fair this year, Terry Fisher (who knew about my fan) emailed me a link on eBay to an original crate for my fan and he said, "You need to get this..." I saved it in my watched items, but with all the preparations for Fan Fair I forgot about it. I loaded up the fan and took it to Fan Fair. Then when Terry Fisher happened by my table and started eyeballing my fan he asked,"Did you buy that crate?" I said, "Oh man! I completely forgot about it." Anyway I figured that it was long gone and quickly became consumed with Fan Fair again. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago. I got to thinking about the crate again and I wondered to myself, "What are the odds that someone in the club bought that crate?" I decided to post on the forum to see if I'd get any bites. Low and behold AFCA member Ralph Bliss came through and said he had bought it. I explained my failure to multitask and asked him if he'd like to sell it. I told him that I actually had the fan that went with it and he said, "Well, I bought it hoping to someday buy the fan to go with it, but since you already have it, I'll sell it." Anyway to make a long story even longer today I received the crate via UPS from Ralph. Thanks Ralph. Terry and others wanted to see pictures when I got the crate so here goes. Forgive my photography. I use my cell phone camera...
Thanks to Ralph for the willingness to sell and the great shipping and diligence. Thanks to Terry for originally making me aware of the crate.

Wait a minute Larry, I thought it was a trade, the crate for the fan.
Seriously, I'm glad I could help bring the two together, a fan that nice deserves a proper crate.

| Thanks guys! Ralph, I don't believe the fan is very common at all itself. If anyone has one that is 32 volt. I'd like to know just for curiosity sake...

| That is a fantastic box. It makes me think that we should first collect the boxes, then collect the fans. Put the cart before the horse, so to speak. It is also the first Emerson box that I've seen that doesn't have the (later) "Built to Last" logo on it. Now, if I could only find an original box for my 24646...

Larry.................
That looks outstanding! It is just like a brother and sister being reunited after many, many years. Brings tears to my eyes. That's the fun of collecting .... when things can be put together like that. What a great display. Just like it came from the factory.
Congrats Larry, there are very few collectors that have a perfect fan/crate combination like yours.

| Thanks again Terry. I couldn't have done it without your help and the generosity of Mr. Bliss.

| That is a beautiful box Michael and a perfect example of putting the cart before the horse. I am sure it will be much easier to find the fan and once you do, it will be a match made in heaven.

| In case he doesn't know it's a 1901-02 GE pancake, 12" stick mount. If it's Long's fan I hope he can add more to this. Yes, really great fans that all collectors should strive for some day; a GE pancake.
