| Victor, I think that model and cage/badge is from around 1947. Any confirmation from SERIOUS Westinghouse collectors. Or even non-serious other fan collectors?

I have a Grainger's catalog from spring of 54.

I think in 55 they came out with this.It has the center ring from the 40s,but it has a chrome cage and new mauve color.I'm not 100% sure but the John Witt book has one.

Wow Logan...keep up the good work! If you go to Google patent search and put in the name Gustav H. Koch...your going to see a lot of Westinghouse fan patents. Go for it Logan! Then when your done looking at Gustav's stuff, put in the words...Ralph Kruck fan design....your going to see some things you know! Last edited on Fri Oct 30th, 2009 03:23 am by Russ Huber

Thank you Logan!
I think I am going to make a new badge similar to the ones in your fans.
When I found the fan, it was covered with to different paints over the original "pink varnish".
Unfortunately the varnish was very opaque and deteriorated, so I removed it all and polish the Stainless Steel Cast by hand (I suppose that it is Stainless steel…)
I am not sure if the cage was originally chrome, because I found it very rusty, but it have a metallic finish (It could also have been originally with a nickel or zinc finish to prevent the apparition of rust)
I also performed a complete overhaul to the electric motor.
Regards!
Victor
