For your viewing pleasure:
ILG AIR 12" Ventilation Fan w/ Self Cooling Motor, Made in Chicago Ill. The fan has 6 blades. It was dirty, it still is. The inside of the motor cap gives a real opportunity to appreciate this one in it's original glory. The paint glows green it is so new. I have not even cleaned that area yet. The color will be magnificent with some hot water and some elbow grease and some wax to top it off. The motor is clean inside and out also. Found a couple porcelain attachment plug caps at the same place.

Hey Tim, that is actually black varnish on those, not burnt. I have not tested it yet, I go hang out with my grandpa at his shop for test runs. I will take a short video of it running.

I have 2 of those actually. Here is one mounted on its original panel with a porcelain pullchain switch. It was a window fan at that came from an old house.
The other is featured below in a video. It came off the trash pile of an old house that was being gutted. It sat over the back door and exhausted 70 years of kitchen fumes and heat. Its been painted about 10 times. A friend of mine actually grabbed the shutter one day when he passed and the owner was outside and put it over his similiar fan he put in his vintage kitchen.

Thanks for all of the info! Great video and excellent ad, I hope you do not mind, I saved the ad to my computer. Look at the coin those were running for their day, not cheap. My two least favorite fans were there too, the ones that someone else bought already  . Nice touch on the porcelain switch. I believe I have one of those around here. I actually found one with a flip switch today, I thought the porcelain fixtures were just pull chains and push buttons. Maybe a custom job. Thanks again Andrew.

| Its actually the same switch that came with some later Hunter R-52 ceiling fans, although the ILG one is on-off and not a 3 speed.
